About my libraryThis is a (as yet incomplete) listing of all the books in the house, plus any books we have lent out, except a few books tagged "series hole". The kids' books are pretty much complete so people can buy them books with confidence.

Our interests include science-fiction/fantasy, mystery, historical fiction, history, military history, Latin and Greek, statistics, the stock market, homeschooling, and Catholicism.

I posted the review for I Heard Good News Today... You will enjoy it... The book that is..
I just finished writing up a review as you requested. I also put it on Sonlight's website. :-)
My "French Explorers of N.A." is the same as yours. Must be a typo. Looks like they missed a line.
i have a really difficult time with sci fi fantasy. i do however, have several co-workers who really enjoy it. i will pass on your author recommends to them. i am getting ready to do an offsite sale at one of our local high school and some of the kids said they were interested in sci fi. I will bring some of these titles with me. I will let you know if I sell any of them...it will be a challenge for me, but I think I will up for it.
oh, awesome, which letter?? what are some of your favorite books? some in my top ten are Jane Eyre, Rebecca, We Need to Talk About Kevin, Those Who Save Us. I am always looking for new authors. So many books, so little time.
oops, i knew that, didn't realize the error. most of my books are wwii so it was natural to type that in. thanks for noticing
Once I get Core 5 and the new WinterPromise Stuff I'm ordering today entered, I'll probably go higher. But I know you have more books in your house than we have in ours.
52 core 3 books entered today - all with tags, proper covers, and I think correct author and publisher info.

Plus another 25 paperbacks from my room. Several hundred more still stacked in the corner. If bookcases keep collapsing, I might get the rest of the house entered faster than planned.
For some reason, the Faith and Life series is not coming up as shared between our libraries (though now we have 83 book in common besides those!) so I can't pull the book covers to my library. LibraryThing sees your listing and my listing as different books for some reason. Did you use the cue cat they sell here? I did, so it would be interesting if we both used one and yet they are not looked at as the same book in the LibraryThing system. You're library is quite impressive. Are you a Charlotte Mason homeschooler too?
I have finished the big brother barracks!! The last shelf had about 100 books. However, I moved some books out of the barracks into the nursey last month and those haven't been entered yet. One room down, seven to go.
My probability book will be officially out in the Winter--it's being printed right now, and then the reviewers are taking a look. It's about a magical cat named Odds who places himself on a young boys head and won't go away till the boy solves some probability questions. It was a lot of fun to write and I hope it's very accessible for a younger crowd. The illustrations, by Adam Gustafson, are really beautiful.

Thanks for asking.
New Tag: Series hole - book we don't own but would fill in a series.

Young adult all entered: Baker Street Irregulars, Beverly Gray, Bobbsey Twins, Dark is Rising, Doc Savage, Edward Eager (author), Hardy Boys, Judy Bolton, Henry Reed, Homer Price, L. Frank Baum (author), Little House on the Prairie (own all original), Lucky Star, Misty, Narnia (own all), Norby, Rick Brant, Tarzan, Tom Corbett, Tom Swift, Three Investigators, Wrinkle in Time

I've completely finished the brown bookcase in the front hall, 2 shelves in the nursery, 2 from the white shelves in the hall, 1 shelf of Bill's, 2 shelves in the barracks plus the top bunk, and most of a box, 1 shelf in the fr near the hall. Lots to come
Tags for books I've entered all we own: 26 Fairmont Avenue, Boxcar Children (don't want higher than 19), Cam Jansen, Chet Gecko, Dr. Seuss, Edward Eager (author not tag), Flat-Stanley, Geronimo Stilton, Jenny and the Cat Club, Morris the Moose, Narnia (own all), the Littles, Tashi, L. Frank Baum (author not tag) Little House on the Prairie (own all original), Mrs. Piggle-wiggle, Third-Grade Detectives.

cjoymr: Bobsey Twins are the in the nursey. I should move those up the priority list. I'm not even sure what's there - some came with my marriage. : ) When I get to the books closest to the computer you'll drop way down - they're all rare.
1 shelf each from 3 bookcases, 2 shelves from a 4th, 1 box= 478 books. 24 bookcases in house. The following tags give a complete list of all of that type book we own: Geronimo Stilton, Cam Jansen, Jenny and the Cat Club, Boxcar Children, Chet Gecko, Tashi, Narnia, Edward Eager (author not tag), Little House on the Prairie, Dr. Seuss
With thousands of books still to go, this is not yet as useful as it will be. But I have entered all the Geronimo Stilton books, all the Cam Jansen books, all the Jenny and the Cat Club books, all the Boxcar Children books, all the Chet Gecko books, all the Tashi books, all the Narnia books, and all the Edward Eager books. If it isn't in here, we don't have it and you can buy it for them. But no Boxcar books higher than #19 please; they were written after GCW's death.
