The most remarkable thing just happened, and I decided to pop in here and tell you about it.

I like to open up my reviews page occasionally to read reviews (in that right-hand column) written by other members for books shared by my library. Reading book reviews brings me almost as much joy as reading books! Often, I have happily followed a good review to a members review page to read more of their reviews, thumbing-up the really good ones as I read.

Today, a new review at the top of that column was for 'The Day the Falls Stood Still', reviewed by you. A great review, it caused me to follow to your reviews page, again thumbing-up the really good ones as I read. As I scrolled back up the page, after finishing my reading, I noticed that every single little hand had turned green. I had ended up giving you a thumbs-up on EVERY review! That was a first for me!

Anyway, I thought it was kind of a cool happenstance. And serendipitously, I found several interesting books to add to my wishlist!
Noticed you liked The Glass Castle, and I was wondering if you'd be interested in reviewing my new novel and posting your comments here as well as a few other book-related sites. Thought you might like my book since it's also about a dysfunctional family and a bit dark. I could e-mail you the novel in an e-book format if you'd like (I'm out of physical copies at the moment). Let me know if you're interested. Here's a link to a summary (and a sample chapter) in case you'd like to learn a little more about the book before you commit:
