About meI love to read. These days it's mostly non-fiction because I'm in grad school... I expect to have time for fiction again someday.

About my libraryphilosophy, literature, neuroscience, chemistry, history, plays, poetry, short stories. I love words more than stories, and I love understanding things in new ways. I'm not looking for things that wrap up neatly, but for things that are beautiful. Humor, self-reflection, conflict, connection, and insight are appealing. Absolutism, patronizing attitudes, and clumsiness with language are not.
