About meI just graduated from teacher's college and am looking for a job. Hoping to perhaps supply teach for a year. I also have a degree in English literature.

About my libraryI am addicted to reading books and buying them. Unfortunately I can't read them faster than I buy them :) I have a wide array of different books but right now I am taking a break from reading anything too heavy.

"If you want to build a ship, don't herd people

together to collect wood and don't assign them

tasks and work, but rather teach them to long

for the endless immensity of the sea."

(--Antoine de Saint-Exupery)

"Remember days when dreams were like the sea,

never ending and sure to be?

You saw them with your heart so pure

and knew they surely would endure.

When did you cast them back into the sea?

Did you think that they would simply never be?

Just like the sea, your dream is still there...

waiting like a seashell to be picked up."

(--adapted from Misty Taggert)
Hi,

LibraryThing contacted me and indicated you were one of the winners of the Early Reviewer Giveaway (for my novel, Dirty Little Angels). Please send me your e-mail address (mine is mail@christophertusa.com), and I'll send you a copy of the e-book.

Thanks for entering the giveaway,

Chris
Took me awhile to get back to you because I got back and immediately went to a place called Kugluktuk over in the West for a week. Nothing much new, except that I'm trying to read all the books I bought this summer. Unfortunately there is a bookstore in Yellowknife which I go through on my way to and from Kugluktuk so I bought even more books. One was Thomas Friedmans "Hot, Flat and Crowded" which has really opened my eyes to the problems (catastrophe) of global warming. I've also started Joyce's "Ulysses" but it is nearly a 1000 pages long so who knows when I'll get it finished, if ever. Take care.
Congratulations on your grad! Hopefully you found a sub position.

If you are a Miriam Toews fan, her new book "The Flying Troutmans" just launched. I haven't read it yet, but it looks wonderful!
