i am not one to gush ...but i finally scored a copy of BURY ME DEEP..which means i have most of your books..i think you are a godsend to the world of Hard-Boiled Noir...your novels always surprise me with the strength of the Characters and the delicious twists of Plot (never mind fate)...keep on writing, you!

As of today, i own DIE A LITTLE,THE SONG IS YOU & QUEENPIN...but my favorite of yours is the editorship of A HELL OF A WOMAN: AN ANTHOLOGY OF FEMALE NOIR...thank you for ,uh, just existing..your work gives me hope..and an alternative to ladylike fluff...s**t, in other words...in words...you are fine
