About meHi! I'm Em! I read mostly non-fiction with some quirky fiction thrown in. I'm a knitter. I work in a bookstore, but the majority of my library comes from used bookstores (I especially love the Book Barn in Niantic, CT). On my days off, my favorite thing to do is hang out in my PJs. I love, love, love early (pre-1800s) New England cemeteries (I consider myself a cemetery snob).
About my libraryMy library has seen my many phases (or obsessions). For a while, I was collecting classics, then grammar books, then philosophy books, then disease books, etc., etc., etc. Currently, I'm mostly reading about American history. My favorite fiction author is Sarah Waters and my favorite nonfiction author is Sarah Vowell. I adore the works of Edward Gorey and my all-time favorite book is "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland/Through the Looking-Glass."
