About mePartner. Dog-Owner. Vegetarian. Librarian. Book-Lover. Film-Lover. Television-Addict.

About my libraryI suppose, in part, my library is inspired by my father, who has a list of everything he's read since the 1970s. My library doesn't really reflect what I personally own but is rather a list of most of what I've read starting around 8/07. I read mostly YA fiction and non-fiction (I'm a teen librarian) with a few adult mysteries thrown in the mix.

I think you glet the William F. Buckley award for the best considered response given this year. And no, when you emphasized your reasoning on rape, it did not seem like screaming. I was raised in a screaming houysehold and I do not do it and do not allow it around me. You want to scream? Fine. Go into the woods and enjoy yourself (or the shower actually, is quite nice for that. i call it singing, but friends say i am sceaming). meredith, i really am sorry if i hurt your feelings. it is far from my intent to do that, and i DO come off as a pretentious puerile mugwump from time to time.
Noticed that you liked The Heart is a Lonely Hunter, and I was wondering if you'd be interested in reviewing my new novel and posting your comments here (as well as on a few other book-related sites). I thought you might like my novel since it's been compared to that novel by a number of reviewers. I could e-mail you the novel in an e-book format if you'd like. Let me know if you're interested. Here's a link to a summary in case you're interested:
