About meI am a mid-40's former corporate executive (my job was relocated to Texas and I chose not to move) who is currently enjoying a well deserved sabbatical. Currently, my days are spent doing all of the things around the house that I never got to and taking my new puppy (Beckett) for long walks.

As a long time reader (thanks Mom & Dad!), I would like to say that I try new things but, alas, it isn't true. I am a fiction reader - general, mysteries, romance and science fiction. The only time I read non-fiction is when my book group makes that decision for me. Within the last year, I have branched out to graphic novels and while they are fun, I haven't quite caught the bug yet.

Also, I am not a big Oprah fan. Thanks for the book recommendations, but I can pick my own books!

About my libraryBooks that are fun, books that other people recommended, books that caught my attention at the bookstore, books that had great cover art, books from my regular authors, etc. My TBR pile is long and growing longer by the day. I never met a bookstore that I didn't like...
