About meI am a writer and photographer living in Minneapolis with my wife and twin sons, Jack and Peter.

About my libraryMost of my "archive" is in the basement, in several bookcases my father built before I was born and that followed us around the globe while I was growing up on military bases. The current books tend to follow me from living room to kitchen to bed, before eventually finding a space on an upstairs shelf. And, of course, the boys have their own shelf, groaning under the weight of Thomas and Paddington and Flicka Ricka Dicka.
