Noticed you liked Vernon God Little, and I was wondering if you'd be interested in reviewing my new novel and posting your comments here as well as a few other book-related sites. Thought you might like my novel since it's also southern (and a bit dark). I could e-mail you the novel in an e-book format if you'd like (I'm currently out of physical copies). If you're interested, send me your e-mail address (mine is mail@christophertusa.com), and I'll send you the e-book. Here's a link to a summary (and a sample chapter) in case you'd like to read more about the book before you commit:

Thanks,

I liked your review of The Gum Thief a lot. FYI the girl's name is Bethany. When I first wrote my review I did the same thing and called her Brittany cause that's the name of the character in Glove Pond. Then I noticed- oops! :-)
I love your review of The Unconsoled. I am crazy about Ishiguro & that's the only novel of his that I haven't read. Now I can't wait. Long, dreamlike, off-kilter sequences taking place in a universe of not-quite-right? Sign me up! Thanks for the prod in that direction.
Exeter City? Good for you. I always go for the underdog except when they play my team, Morton, who by the way have just won promotion to the first division. Yeah, I agree "Penthouse and Pavement" was a great wee book, refreshing in its focus on the unheralded clubs from the lower divisions. Those of us who follow them rejoice and suffer in their changing fortunes every bit as much if not more so than the average fan of Man U, Liverpool, Rangers or Celtic
Penthouse and Pavement: How to Survive in Football Without Sucking Up to the Old Firm by Bill Leckie
Up to this point you were the only member with this book in the catalog. I'm sorry to deprive you of that distinction. I was wondering why you were attracted to it and what you thought of it. If you don't mind me saying so it seems an odd choice given the other books you've listed.
Lovers and loathers of Dan Brown and his on-off relationship with the English language are directed to http://chasmsoftheearth.blogspot.com/ You know it makes sense. Well, more sense than the book.
