Thanks, Bennett's & Jacobs' books are casual readings of the past...I have already sold them:)
Just came back to this website after 1.5 years and saw your comment a while ago.

I see you recently added Ken Follet's Eye of the Needle. This novel brought back memories. I went on to read more of his works, which included Pillars of the Earth, a novel about building a medieval cathedral. I'm almost ready to drop everything and start reading his fiction again!
Thank you for the recommendation of Ricouer's Time and Narrative. From my surface study of his position through the Stanford Encyclopedia article, I gather that to grasp the idea of a personal sense of time, we view ourselves similar to characters in a novel. Also time is exacted through our interaction with others. Although this is only part of the picture, I need to study Ricouer more fully.
Thanks so much for marking my library "Interesting." I'm awestruck by your library, so I feel quite flattered.
Thank you for the kind words about my library.

I'm in awe of not just the vastness, but the breadth of your collection and the keen, inquiring sensibility it displays. I could spend months, if not years, reveling in it. May I also compliment your reviews? They may cause me to seek out a few of the books in question.

It's an honor to discover that we share some of the same volumes.
How did you get to be so unbelievably cool?
