Why New Hampshire the First-in-the Nation Primary State by former governor Hugh Gregg & secretary of State Bill Gardner put on bookshelf. Excellent history of New Hampshire's primary & why it is the first presidential primary.
Added Race for the Presidency Rhodes Cook books & Theodore H. Whites Making of the Presidents books 1956 thru 1992 & Quest for the Presidency in the Eighties and Nineties books by Peter Goldman. Rhodes Cooks books Race For The Presidency covering last few decades of the primary & general elections methodology, delegate allotment, dem & gop procedures, results, by state, geographic breakdown interstate of election results. Interesting. Theodore Whites books Making of the Presidents is behind the scenes look all way back to 1956 through 1982. covers all the democrats, independents & republicans candidates. Same for quest for the presidency books. One gains a new respect for all candidates in both parties as they campaign. God Bless 'em all for going through this process that has made our nation the greatest in the world! God Bless America.
