About meMichael Reiss obtained a degree in physics and followed it up with a PhD in neural networks. He then went on to a career in artificial intelligence, during which he became world champion at programming the ancient oriental strategy game of Go (Shanghai 1999). Michael’s interest in economics was first sparked during a spell as a programmer at Chase Manhattan Bank, and he has been researching heterodox economics since 2007. He lives in London with his girlfriend and daughter.
