About meWelcome to my BooKLOG. :)

About my libraryAt my old place, the library was housed in the master bedroom, while I slept in the smaller room - after all, why should I get the bigger room when I only sleep in my bedroom, and the books are in theirs all day long?

In the house where I live now, though, the books are out in the living room. They like to be where the people are. :D

Noticed you liked Clockwork Orange, and I was wondering if you'd be interested in reviewing my new novel and posting your comments here as well as a few other book-related sites. Thought you might like my book since it's also about a group of violent kids (and also a bit dark). I could e-mail you the novel in an e-book format if you'd like (I'm out of physical copies at the moment). Let me know if you're interested. Here's a link to a summary (and a sample chapter) in case you'd like to read more about the book before you commit:

Hi!

I’m sending this note because you are a member of the Seattleites group.

A few of us are starting a book club and I hope that you will consider joining us.

Our first book is In the Woods by Tana French. Our first meeting will be on Thursday, October 2nd, at Third Place Books in Lake Forest Park at 7pm.

See our thread called Book Clubs? on the Seattleites group or you can reply to me if you want more info.

Thanks - Carol
Nice to see you too! And entering books while being sick is actually a pretty good way to spend the time.
HI! I've just discovered this website only a month after you reccomended it.

Not uploaded all mine yet.

I love the fact that you have Patricia's Secret! One of the coolest kid's books and no one ever knows about it.
Yay, Cherry Ames! :) Hooray for user-provided covers!
You've added over 500 books since yesterday? You MUST have uploaded a database... or you have the fastest fingers in five counties.

(found ya back!)

Hi there! Nice to see you here too! There's actually quite the hootoo contingent here, partly due to a thread I started in Ask a while ago that I can't find just now.
