About meI am a bibliophile a couple iotas short of mania. Married to a bibliophile. With two kids, one a constant book fiend and the other an intermittent book fiend. Most likely the library will have to change name at some point. I am a lifelong software engineer with a strong preference for SF, with a certain amount of interest in science non-fiction and biographies (and even Grisham and Clancy).

About my libraryWe have just recently escaped years in the south for the great northwest. Our renovations are finished and we now have a beautiful library at home. Many thanks to Ballard bookcases of Seattle for the gorgeous cases. I love Library Thing and expect to do my best to get all my book friends to put their collections on here!

Hey, you started with LT only a day before me, and you have a lot more books listed. I have a long way to go, and am using this opportunity to do a little weeding. I live in a very small house. So far we have 40 common titles, but the only odd one I see is The Unicorn with Silver Shoes. I found that book in my small-town public library - an odd collection for a little farming town, many decades ago. I hunted the book down on Bookfinder - no doubt you are familiar with it. Do you remember how and why you acquired it? I've had a celtic mythlogy and general Irish thing since childhood. My name is Irish, although the ancestor came here and fought in the American revolution, so there's not a lot of Irish in my culture. But books will provide.
