wonder if you're familiar with a small A-5 French language volume detailing the exploits of a squadron of the FFI in the St. Nazaire pocket utilising captured German armour. Entitled 'Les Chars de la Resistance" by Luc Bruaer, 48 pages, 100 photos. I've just added it to my library.
cheers
Neil

I have uploaded a cover for The Hardest Victory: RAF Bomber Command in the Second World War by Denis Richards. This is from the 1994 W. W. Norton hardcover edition.

Mark Lynton died 1998; his family underwites the Mark Lynton History Prize (part of the Lukas Prize Project - book awards for non-fiction - 3 awarded annually at $10,000 each) administered by Columbia U's School of Journalism and Harvard U's Nieman Foundation (for journalism). Interestingly there is also a prize for "best work-in-progress" - $30,000 to allow the author time & money to complete the project.
I am doubtful there is a copy in the local inter-library region. I do have a couple of military bookstores and a museum to also search.
Thanks. Sincerely,
Del Grapes

An old Profile publication.
I will search a copy out.
Thanks, Ian.

By the way, the author of the USS Mississippi Profile is Karl Lautenschlager. It looks like part of the title overflowed into the author field.

I notice that you have recently added a book about USS Mississippi (BB 23) / Kilkis.
Could you provide author and publisher, please. I would like to search out a copy for my own library.

I'm not sure who you emailed about your account, but on the off-chance it was me, I don't see any emails from you in my inbox... Could you drop me an email? abby@librarything.com
I need to know which payment was yours so I can match it up with your account (so I need to know the email address you used to pay at PayPal.
