About meI hate these about me things... I like to read, but I do not read as much as I should or would like to. I like a good non-fiction book, Chic-lit (fun reads), a thriller, fantasy, romantic comedy, a book with some history in it or set in war time, something dramatic, young adult/teen books and a graphic novel or comic once in a while. I even like some poetry, but don't ask me to recite it back to you... I don't do that.
My sister-in-law worked at a book store. She told me about a woman who came in and said "Where is the fiction section of the store?" That made me giggle. =)
About my libraryI tend to read a lot of fluff, thrillers, romance/comedy, some comics and graphic novels. I do like story's set in WWII time period too. Really I am pretty open to any kind of book. I try to read things that people recommend or give to me. I just need to make more time for reading.
I am not always good at updating my library here.
In 2009 I plan to try and do a 30 book challenge. I am hoping this will get me to make more time for reading. I used to average 12-15 books a year, not including the comics, so 30 books is a good challenge for me right now. Below is a link to my thread in the 50 Book Challenge group (but I am still only shooting for 30) and a ticker to keep track of my books read.

Saw you liked Trainspotting, and I was wondering if you'd be interested in reading my new novel and posting your comments here (as well as on a few other book-related sites). Thought you might like my novel since it's also about a group of disturbed kids and a bit dark. I could e-mail you the novel in an e-book format if you'd like. Let me know if you're interested. Here's a link to a summary in case you're interested:
