mojo, I enjoyed reading and reading your reviews, you should be in the 75 Book Challenge not for the challenge but for the sharing of good books. I'm a fan of [The Thirteenth Tale] and [The Book Thief] so when I run across them I have to see what others thought. I'm also a Kate Atkinson fan as well.

Huge variety. Thank you for bothering with the reviews.

So glad to see someone love Fall of Giants like I did. --the Welsh characters were my favorite, I think. Certainly am excited to wait for the entire trilogy. -- I think it's fun to commit to such an epic.
Hi mojomomma,
Actually, why do you think The Year of The Flood focuses on 25 years after? My impression was that it occurs almost simultaneously with Oryx and Crake.
I tried to read Richard Adams years ago. He was the Watership Down guy, wasn't he? Couldn't get into it. I've got 3 memoirs and am working on another one. Also did a bio. Info on all of them at my website Happy Turkey Day, Tim
Hey, I see you liked the Coppola book too. I gave it all five stars. A surgeon who writes! And writes well! I read a lot of military memoirs (wrote one myself) and this one ranks high. - Tim Bazzett
