Hi,

Was wondering if you'd be interested in reviewing my new novel and posting your comments here as well as a few other book-related sites. Saw you liked Paris Trout, and I thought you might like my novel since it's also southern and a bit dark. I could e-mail you the novel in an e-book format if you'd like. Let me know if you're interested. Here's a link to a summary in case you're interested:

Thanks,

Hi, I stumbled upon your library because we share similar taste in books. I enjoyed browsing through your list.
Hi, Heather - thanks for getting back to me, too.

So out of boredom I decide to click on the new feature that shows which members have the most similar libraries as I do...and I discover that a monkey is in my top 50. Hmmm... So, what does that say about me?
Thanks for your note Monkeyinmaine! Sea dogs eh? Maybe they'd be interested in some works of yarrr ;)
'sup monkey-man! I love your blog post of 16 April. State of Origin rugby league is rolling around again here, and you should know there is no love lost 'mongst Cockroaches and Cane Toads!!!
I just checked your blog......hilarious!!!!!

Paola :-))
I never thought that I might share books with...er...a monkey. I am certainly not a monkeyphobe...I am pro-primate all the way up the tree! By the way, how did you find The Feminine Mystique? The monkey perspective could be interesting (I suspect you to be a feminist monkey judging by what we have in common). Howard End could have quite a different meaning if you were a Bonobo...

Welcome to LT, monkeyinmaine! We share a modest number of books and we are both Mainers (although I am now "from away" and carry my Maineness in my blood). We both share a love of British literature, women's studies titles, and great literature in general. I suspect you might have been an English major. Your blog page cracks me up. Best, Lois
