Thank you for the lovely card and pins. It was a very nice surprise and just the thing to wear at the library booksale next weekend!
I forgot to mention - no need to reciprocate, I'm happy to send you the book.

Vivienne
Hi Monica,

I'm so glad you left a message as I couldn't find the post again to get your username.

The book isn't in absolutely brand new condition, but it's clean and there's no writing/highlighting in it. I'll send it off on Monday.

cheers,
Vivienne
sorry to be so late in getting back to you but I tried to find a short blurb on the book to refresh my memory but was unsuccessful. All I remember is that I read it when it first came out and enjoyed.
I like that you've your collection of childhood books here. Great idea. That should be a project for me too (someday).
That photo is looking very familiar!

Happy Holidays
Dawn

Hi Monica, Thanks for the quick response. What a shame you will miss the chat. I am really looking forward to it. I will post the transcript on Book Buzz the next day - I will post the link here for you. :)

Drop by anytime!
Happy Holidays,
cheers,
Dawn
Hi Monica,

My name is Dawn and I am a librarian and the host of Toronto Public Library’s online book club: Book Buzz and a fellow LibraryThing member.

This month we are reading The Time Traveler’s Wife, by Audrey Niffenegger I noticed that you include The Time Traveler’s Wife in your library and that you gave it a 5-star review. I’d just like to invite you to visit us and share your thoughts about Niffenegger’s book. It’s a friendly easy-going book club with over 800 members and we are always looking for new points of view.

We will also be hosting a chat with the author. You can interact live, online with Audrey Niffenegger on Book Buzz:
Monday, December 15, 2008. 7-8 pm (Toronto time)

If you are interested, visit us at http://bookbuzz.torontopubliclibrary.ca .

Thank-you for your time,
