Hi. I wanted to thank you for your excellent choices for SantaThing. I like the two art books very much: The French Illuminated Manscripts volume is a fine companion to a book I already have by the same author on Italian manuscripts. They make a great set! The book on samurai woodcuts is very nice, too; one of the best-produced Dover publications I've seen. I also like the book on English queens pre-Elizabeth, especially the long section on Margaret of Anjou, one of the most fascinating personalities of the Wars of the Roses period. All in all, super selections! Thanks.
I'm glad you like your santathing books. I hope you'll enjoy the reading. I can see you have already added your books to your library. But i don't see the fifth, you may have a new year present ;-)
Thank you so much for the books you selected for me for Santa Thing. I look forward to reading them while stuck inside during the cold winter. Sorry it took me a while to contact you but there was something wrong and I wasn't able to see who to contact. Happy New Year and thank you again!

Wow, that's some fast service! I'm glad you're pleased with what I chose for you. There was one other book that I really REALLY wanted to get for you (well, actually, make that 4 books) but because it's being re-published as part of a collection it wasn't available for my to buy now. Maybe I'll luck out and get you in the future for SantaThing?!? ( I think I may have had you 2 years ago - does that sound familiar?)

I saw you loved the His Dark Materials trilogy and thought that Once Upon A Time... would be a good fit. As for the other two, well, I really liked them so I hope you will too!

You're very welcome, and I hope you have a very Happy Christmas! I'll see you around LT!

Best,
Laura

I am so glad you liked them! I haven't read Time Travelers Wife yet but my daughter loved it. This is the first time I have done the Santa Thing but I hope they do it again next year. It really was a lot of fun. Hope you have a good holiday! Merry Christmas! Mary Kay
Hello,
Yes, I did receive your SantaThing gift! Thank you so much! It was the only thing delivered to my house since last Wednesday, when it started snowing. The Seattle area just shuts down when we get snow -- no mail delivery or anything. It was great to get at least one gift, and I know I'll like the books. Happy Holidays! Jan
