About my library We're trying to fit what we brought with us into our HCMC apartment and discovering that having your books split up for months or years at a time leads to a shocking number of duplicates. I really do read nearly everything, but we especially like monsters, books in Spanish, strange animals, Literature of the Fantastic, disasters, architecture, books on Mexico, Vietnam and other places, and graphic novels.

I came to the Moomintroll books as an adult but I too force them on people. My niece is getting to enjoy them as a child. I have also found Jansson's books for grown ups. The Summer Book and The Winter Book are delightful, they have some of the same wistfulness of the children's series.
