I'm in the middle of "Sutton," by J.R. Moehringer, and just wanted to let you know how much I liked your review of that book. I especially like the quotation about confidence. I flagged it while reading. At first this book didn't particularly grab me; I'm reading it for one of my book clubs. But your review prompted me to reconsider and think more about Willie Sutton as a character. I'm a librarian, too, and of course I love characters who are readers! I read online that the whole sub-plot related to Bess Endner is fictional. I was kind of disappointed to read that. I liked thinking that Willie was drawn into a life of crime for love. Not so, apparently. Thanks for the review!
