Nop nop!
Groo, my friend, You rock. I have spent half of my day trying to make sense of the fake language. LOL
Carrie
Wow, in two days we've posted 163 messages to the Fake Language Book Jam, and not a one makes a lick of sense! YOU GUYS ROCK!!!
I check the posts in the Fake Language Group BEFORE any other postings! That's so....so...wrong in some way, but too much fun to stop!
Great frustration!! Keep getting error message when I try for pine tar stuff.. . maybe they think I'm too old.
This has to be the strangest LT posting day ever. Nop! Just what I needed.
I am laughing out loud literally! I saw the post about your new group and the number of messages. I promise you...tears rolling down my face!

Nop! Nop!
Cross posting from that group could be real pannhaning.
Well my friend, you've lost me. Or should I say, you've lost it? :) I found your note on my profile page, before coffee. Now that's just cruel. I'm heading to the GD to see if there are any clues. Also heading for the coffeepot. *Yawn*
Hello, you! How are you? :) *waves*

Ohh I've missed you guys at the Dragon. I've been so busy with work, I've neglected LT completely. I sure hope to come back gradually, though.

Oh oh oh I see you guys have started a Fake Language group! How cool is that! You're all crazy! :P

Tess
Funny stuff. It all makes sense to me before coffee, too... ;o)
Oh you crazy, crazy people! I hadn't realised you had set up an entire new group....
We must get more GD's in on the cause...

*feels sick from laughing*
Oooh oooh lets send out invites to the Serious People from Serious Groups.

~rubs hands in glee~

I can't stop giggling.
OMG. I am dying.

I love you people!

Nop nop!
So am I!!
The last time I saw your bucket the smurfs were pooing.....opps....uummm......Your bucket? Why I haven't seen your bucket! I'll certainly keep a nose....I mean an eye out for it! :0)
Hello Larry, how is the next installment going for Tales of the GD? I am enjoying reading your story. Is all the back story part of LOTR ? I read it so long ago (37 years ago) that I have forgotten. I didn't read all the appendices either and I haven't read the Hobbit ( I know that is bad of me)That is probably a silly question and I should just go read JRR Tolkien again. I did manage to get through the Silmarillion but it was a pretty hard slog, I remember.
See you in the GD
PS I haven't had the nerve to try one of your famous brews. Do you make one for tee-totalers?(sp?)
Yeah, but nothing beats your brew. I had a headache for weeks! Lol.

Deb.
Off to bed now...great talking to ya over at the GD.

Goblins!

(And thanks for earlier, the hugs and such)
That Professor Gizmo clip was awesome! LOL :-)
I'm glad you find my library interesting! In my house, it is quite unappreciated. It's tough living in a house full of non-readers! That's why LT is such a wonderful thing for me - it's full of people just like me!
I am honored! esta
That Part II thread seems to be seeing some action now!
I need to check everyone else's library since you have added them all to your interesting libraries list! I am intrigued now. Thanks for the add.
Hi Mrgrooism, thanks for the interesting library add and I have to ditto GeorgiaDawn, mckait, and scaifea.
Thanks for adding me to your interesting libraries list! By the way, I agree with scaifea and mckait! :)
Thanks for adding me to your 'interesting' list! Hahaha - that's so funny - I was just about to say, "I wish there was an interesting persons list to which I could add you," but mckait totally beat me to it! LOL! I think the majority of the GD team would make that list.
Hi groo.. thanks for the add...
I wish we had an interesting persons list!
:)
kath
Haha...re the photo - yeah, someone else thought that, but I decided to keep it cause it's meanly funny, and funly mean to throw people off track. Not to mention mean to Hubby. It's true about the computer though hehe...

*prankster K*
That's fair enough :-)
Oh, great! I'll put a cake in the GD for her! Hope you had fun. Was it one of the games where we (the Yanks) lost? :o(
*sneaks a bottle of Fresca on Mr Groo's doorstep and hopes the ants find it....*
Hehe. Nose run/feet smell is a classic isn't it? I had to post it.
Thanks for adding me, LibraryThing buddies are surreal buddies.
Uh oh!!!
I'd better go check this out!
:o)
Oh, yeah, me too. I'd guess I have maybe half of my books entered, and there are whole categories hardly touched yet! I've done most of my sci fi/fantasy, mysteries, and cookbooks, as well as most of my American history (not counting books about the presidents). Have hardly touched classics . . .

Still, it's a curiously soothing task, entering books.

Do you think we're ever going to nail down a date for the Connecticut GD get-together? One of the weekends leading in the votes is only three weeks away!

Cheers,
Elizabeth
I'm honored that you have added me to interesting libraries and as a friend. I think it's funny we share five books and they are all Agatha Christie! Maybe there will be more when I finally get all of my library entered (it's a slooowww process at this point).

And, of course, I've enjoyed your comments and presence in various threads along the way . . .

Elizabeth
Thanks groo, I haven't read him but I will keep an eye out. it's nice to compare authorswith someone who understands the dark, daffy sense that I have. :)

Carrie
Hey groo, Glad to see a fellow King and Hiaasan fan here. What a combo they are! I'll be interested to dig deeper in the mind of Groo (your library).

Carrie
Thanks for the invite, it's truly an honour.

Hey, if we are to share just one book, i can't think of a better one!
Mrgrooism, May I call you Groo?

Thanks for your kind thoughts. I appreciate all that you bring to the Green Dragon. You are a significant reason it is a fun place to hang out.
Thanks for the friend invite. I am flattered! I'll be "seeing" you in the Dragon! Have a great weekend!
Hey, we share no booooooks! I could pick one for you but better for you to look at the reviews I've posted and pick one to read (no need to buy, get from library) then we can read together. . . I promise to re-read along with you).
*snort* hehehehe...
honored to be the namesake. . . . . will watch the story develop. . . may even. . . . . . .
Thank you for the invite. I believe I've seen you when I sneak into the green dragon. Funny that we share no books except that I have read quite a bit of Christie but don't seem to own any. Cheers, Maren
Thank you kindly for your invitation, I could never say 'no' to someone that can mix a drink like you 'Groo - Thanks for the invite. I am indeed honoured. You're my very first official friend, by the by. See you on the pages!
virtual goat? How disappointing..

Dear, dear groo: Of course, I accept your invitation. I'm honored. Truth to tell, I considered us friends already, but now it's official!! (I think your recipe for PGGB should be cross-stitched and hung behind the bar.)
Thanks for the invite groo! I have been noticing you around GD.
So are you getting the goat?
:)
kath
Thanks for the invite, Groo :o) Hope to see you more around the GD, not that I'm one to talk. I don't seem to have time to do more than lurk lately :op
Many thanks for putting me on your friends list. Dumb question: What do LT friend links actually do?
You make me smile, a lot, thanks for being my friend. :)
It's vaguely interesting that the only books in common are Stephen King's books.

*waves*
Give him a PGGB! He cannot resist!

Carrie
