About meI currently have too much time on my hands. What a great time to discover Library Thing!

About my libraryMy list has many titles that I remember from decades past and fewer from the past couple of years! Maybe that is common at my age? I am turning 60 in the Fall. I've never kept a list and don't currently still own most of my books. I've been perusing other people's lists to coax my memory.

Hi mressweetiebear ~ glad to hear that you enjoyed Where the Heart Is. Its one of my favorite Oprah books. I even liked the movie. :) Speaking of Oprah, I just picked up Black and Blue by Anna Quindlen at a used book sale the other day (I couldn't help myself from checking it out) and think I'll read it shortly. First, I have to finish my book club book, though. Not sure that Black and Blue will be the 'feel-good' book that Where the Heart Is. I'll let you know what I think when I finish it. Hope all is well in beautiful Hawaii this evening. :)
Hi mressweetiebear. I'm fairly new to Library Thing and see that you and I have a number of books in common. It's pretty addictive. :) How are you enjoying Where the Heart is? I thought it was a nice, heart warmning story. I look forward to getting to know you better.
I see that you are reading 'Tis: A Memoir. My husband got me reading Frank McCourt. Did you hear the sad news that he died recently? Just looking through your library for a bit. Thinkin you may enjoy participating in my thread

Will be looking for you.
funny...you keep me running back & forth from FB to LT :0) this can be pretty time consuming! I wish I had a list of ALL the books i've read. This is going to take awhile. If you have 360, do you now have to upgrade & pay?
LOL!!! I can't believe you found me! Too funny :-) I am just learning how to navigate. I didn't know you could post private comments. I usually just sit here and try to remember books I've read. I need to find your list too!
Hi mressweetiebear and welcome to LibraryThing. We have 94 books in common so far so I thought you may want to browse my library to add to yours! I just turned 55 and last year did the same thing you're doing to catelog my reading. It's addictive that's for sure. Enjoy!
