About me My wife Carol and I are both librarians. I'm retired now. I was one of the first 'Systems Librarians' and wrote several books on the subject. I also had a column in 'Computers in Libraries' for nearly 20 years. I am now working on various book projects as well as indulging my interests in physics, UFOs, 'DaVinci code' issues, and a whole lot more. My latest project is 'The Falco Dictionary' dealing with the works of Lindsey Davis.
About my library I have the largest UFO book collection on Library Thing. Some of them are very rare, though few can be considered 'valuable.' There are quite a few science books, anthropology, paranormal, Atlantis and ancient civilizations, and books on the history of religion. We have some really old turn of the (20th) century stuff, children's books, you name it. I purged most of the computer-related books after retiring--there simply was no room, though I kept all the history of computing books. I only collect a few authors such as Kage Baker and William Gibson, and I also am still actively collecting UFO books, particularly those from the fifties. I need some more bookshelves badly.
