About meFull time graduate student studying sociology at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and embarking on a freelance writing career. I'm a serious book nerd, I spend a ridiculous fraction of my financial aid on books instead of things like insurance. Aside from that I love reading, FISHING!, hunting-gathering, hiking, rootin' around in the woods, and seeing the world from the saddle of my bicycle. I am hardcore midwesterner and darn proud of it!!

About my libraryMy library consists of books that I have read all the way through from high school to the present and I'm sure there are quite a few that I missed. I decided to put my summer reading list up here instead of in a word document, more fun this way, but I was so busy fishing this summer it's more like a next list that keeps growing. These days I'm drawn to books about sharpening my writing skills, Sociology, Christian History, the Environment (esp. conservation, outdoor adventure, and good old fashion midwestern folks that like fishing, hiking, hunting) Buddhism, Sci-Fi and Fantasy that have a good story and are written by good writers and MEXICO!!!.
New tags that need explanation:
W2R: Want to read (aka I didn't get to it this summer!)
YR01,02,03 etc: Year read (and reread).
