About my libraryI read at least one book a week and do not have the space to keep all of the books that I read. Therefore this "library" is not a list of books that I currently own but a list of books that I have read, most of which I have owned at one time, but some of which I checked out of the public library. It would be nice if LibraryThing would give us the option of choosing whether we currently own, use to own, or borrowed.
I enjoy reading both fiction and non-fiction. I read fiction for purely entertainment purposes and do not analyze it too seriously.
If I was entertained and didn't want to put the book down, then in my mind it's a good book.
My Rating System:
5 stars = An absolute favorite, a book that really sticks out in my mind.
4 stars = An engrossing read. A real page-turner.
3 stars = A fun book that I just enjoyed without putting too much thought into it.
2 = A book that was Ok. I had to slog through parts but managed to finish it. Don't regret reading it.
1 = Don't waste your time. I felt cheated and will never get those hours back.
