About meI'm a K-6 substitute teacher who aspires to be a teacher-librarian eventually. However, I love the variety of my current job. I currently operate not only as a teacher, but as a union leader, health and safety guru, webmaster, and overall jack-of-all-trades. If only it paid well enough to be a viable long-term career...

Apart from reading, I enjoy Tai Chi, fencing (foil), rock climbing, sailing (aboard my 19' sailboat, the Tahlmorra), hiking, surfing the web, programming, writing... lots of interests. ;-)

About my libraryMostly fantasy and science fiction, with a growing e-book collection. Unfortunately, life is busy enough that my backlog of unread books grows much faster than I can read them. That's ok, though, because I know what I'll be doing in retirement!

One of these days I'll get back to adding books to LibraryThing... as always, though, too many books, not enough bookcases, and not enough time. In the meantime, you can browse a fair sample of what's on my bookcases.
