Always nice to find others interested in medieval history. I found your profile through the Medieval Europe group. Any particular book you would recommend? What's your favorite non-fiction book on medieval history? I'm always looking for new books to add to my library. Thanks.

I hope you don't mind being added to my "interesting libraries" list. If not many books, at least we share some interests...
I was nosing around flashflood's comments and noticed you have a book coming out about the heretics of Languedoc. Don't be shy about sharing details regarding publication - it looks to be quite interesting.

Who or what are the Beguins, and what is their relationship with the Cathars/Albigensians?
I'm interested that you have Writing a Research Paper, a book I wrote with colleagues. You might be interested that a much better edition, the 6th, is in the final stage of publication. We have to see one last set of page proofs to do the index pagination and then it's done! It's much better in terms of how to research databases as well as many, many other improvements. Was it Louisa Burnham's essay you read on monasticism? It is a simply outstanding piece of work and has been included in every edition we've done.
