About meI am a retired lover of books.

About my libraryI love books - always have. I love to read them, love to have them, often love to re-read them. I'm always amazed at how much I find in one of my favorite books if I come back to it after a couple years. My collection reflects my interest in history, and my appreciation of relaxing. So I’m heavy on fiction, and my non-fiction is heavy on history.

I used to pride myself on never reading anything that an English professor would like. But a good friend convinced me to upgrade my tastes. He showed me that I enjoy Michener, Clavell and other classier authors. And I also learned that I could enjoy reading some non-fiction as well.

My new goal for the last year has been to write a review of every book I read. I post those reviews on my Blog at: http://nates-library.blogspot.com/
