Eric Holzenberg here, I attended your session (which was fascinating, by the way!) on Best Alaska Memoirs and Biographies at the AKLA Conference in Fairbanks. I volunteered for the selection committee at the time, and am following up to say that I am still interested in helping out. I've just loaded 38 volumes of Alaska biography and memoir from my own collection on LibraryThing under eholzenberg. It's most of what I own in the genre, but if I were to limit the list to books I've read more than once it would shrink to maybe ten titles, probably half of them out of print. Anyway, let me know if the opinion of a non-resident (though Alaska-born) collector of Alaska books would be of use to your project, and if so, how I can help. Regards, Eric
