In your review of Sei Shonagon's "Pillow Book" you say that Roy Andrew Miller thinks she never existed. The only book by him listed on LibraryThing is a primer of Japanese probably not easily come by in my corner of Great Britain. I would be interested to know how he thinks the Pillow Book came into existence, and whether it is by someone else from the C10th or if it is a later fabrication.
