About meUniversity graduate with a BA in Sociology and a minor in Women's Studies. Feminist. Atheist/Secular Humanist. Uncool, and not in a cool way. You know? Eclectic, yet bland. Completely unremarkable. Blends into the crowd. But not a part of the crowd.

Likes sentence fragments, apparently.

I'm interested in a wide range of things and I'm probably not as interesting as I think I am.

About my libraryI think I finally have nearly all my books logged, except for those from the lot of 1213 I bought from eBay.
I have tons and tons of books (well, considering the amount of space I have) and I haven't read most of them. (I have given up on trying to indicate which ones I've read, but I may pick this task back up when I try to catch up on tagging my books.) I obsessively collect plenty of things, and books are one of those things. But don't get me wrong, I do love to read! I just rarely had time to recreationally read while I was in school. I am now working on reading my books and have challenged myself to finish each book I attempt in 10 days or less.

I'm really running out of space for my books and not likely to stop collecting them any time soon. Books labeled "bookmooch" are available for mooching. Books labeled "half.com" are available for sale. Books labeled "up for grabs" (or "not keeping"--the distinction is a bit of a long story) that do not also bear a "bookmooch" or "half.com" tag are books that I am going to remove from my collection through some other means. If you are interested in one of these books, contact me through AIM or a comment to my profile and we'll see if we can work something out.

I'm having trouble tagging some of my books, because I have not read them. Feel free to leave a comment if you see some that are scantily-tagged and you can offer up a tag for them.

A word about rating: I have a lot of textbooks logged, and they are rated as I enjoyed them as textbooks, not as I enjoyed them in general. Some of them will have high marks, but that does not mean I am actually rating them as high as recreational books with that many stars.

Noticed you liked Lovely Bones, and I was wondering if you'd be interested in reviewing my new novel and posting your comments here, as well as a few other book-related sites. Thought you might like my book since it also contains a young female narrator struggling with a series of tragic circumstances. I could e-mail you the novel in an e-book format if you'd like (I'm out of physical copies at the moment). Here's a link to a summary (and a sample chapter) in case you'd like to read more about the book before you commit:
