About my libraryI once concieved a bizarre idea that, if the whole world and every book in it were destroyed -- except for my house -- I wanted as complete an overview of our lost civilzation as I could assemble, to be here for some future archaeologist to find. This means a huge collection and a floor that my husband says can't support another bookcase. Uh-oh.
