About me My name is Nicole Maddock. I work at a large academic science library. I love to read!

About my library I love books and I have a pretty decent collection, but mostly books tend to come and go. So, my library represents both books in my physical library, as well as the books that I've read over the years (by no means exclusively!).

Hi Nicole!

I wanted to thank you so much for being the first to leave evidence of having visited my blog. I was so excited!!!
I also want to invite you to take part as a contributor on my other blog: http://saturdaysilliness.blogspot.com/
I thought it may be right up your alley. The second comment on that site is from me and goes into a more clear explanation as to what I want to do with that site.
It's all for kicks and I thought you might enjoy it.
Let me know and I'll but you on the list of "authors" who can access it.

Thanks,
Nicole
Hello Nicole!

Thanks for stopping by my profile and checking out my blog. I really enjoyed Tipping the Velvet, so I hope you like it. There was also a BBC miniseries that followed the book quite well--some changes, as to be expected--but nicely done.

I've never read The Library at Night, though the title seems vaguely familiar to me. I'll have to check it out. Thanks for the recommendation.

Happy Reading!
I am glad you liked my review. I read red seas the day it came out and loved it! I heard a rumor that there is a collection of short stories related to Locke's early years coming out sometime next year. I don't know when and I cant find any more info about it, but that would rock and at least tide us over until republic of theives. Have you read the name of the wind by patrick rothfuss? I read that recently and if you like locke lammora you will love that book too.
Just saying hi! Thanks for the comment on my blog. I'm enjoying reading yours. I swear I spend hours at my library every week, so it's fun to get a look at it from a different perspective.
