But then there's Gale... Granted, we don't know him so well, so we don't really care as much, but I sure bet by the time the second book is well underway, we will be made to care for him, too. Grrr. Danged love triangles.
NOT okay! That ending was SO not okay! Grrr.... Talk about forcing you to read a sequel. I was thinking I might not do it, too. It was too good - kept me too on edge - I can't take that kind of excitement! :) She must have done some serious pre-planning on that book because there's no way all those little pieces would fit together so splendidly if she hadn't. Sigh. Going to Barnes and Noble to correct papers now. What do you suppose are the chances I won't end up migrating toward the teen section?
No. Want to, but I can't seem to sit down to read lately. Two jewelry shows next two weekends and an idiot teacher who keeps assigning her kids work that she has to grade. Oh, wait - that's me. Dang! Will soon, though. I ordered a copy through Scholastic (yea, free books!), and it'll be easier when I have my own copy. And my tub back - (grumble, grumble, stupid re-roofing that has robbed me of my chimney and consequently my hot-water heater, grumble). I think I need to go have a cup of tea now.
Okay, so I stared Hunger Games and read half of it in one sitting at Barnes and Noble. It's driving me crazy how they're completely setting us up for the two of them alone at the end of the game, and her not quite sure if she can trust him. Drat. Guess I'll have to finish the thing! :-)
Nope. I'll have to try it. Just got one of the early reviewer books. What fun! :-) Hope you're loving Taiwan. The pictures sure are pretty...
