I was writin' to bug ya' about A Tour of the Darkling Plain: The Finnegans Wake Letters of Thornton Wilder and Adaline Glasheen. Like most people who immerse themselves in the "Joyce Game" (as she put it), I find Glasheen to be one of the best 'n brightest of the field. I haven't read this collection of letters (I absolutely loved her correspondence with Hugh Kenner), and was hoping to get your opinion. Any good? Do the letters explore the details of the Wake, or is it more of a general appreciation shared by the two?
Love your library, by the by! Thankin' ya'!
