About meI'm a genetics major at a large-ish university in the south. However, my heart will always belong to Washington DC.

I'm always in search of young people who love to read, especially city people, because they are painfully hard to find these days.

About my libraryBooks I have read. Books I feel I'm supposed to read but stubbornly "don't wanna". Books I read and loved when I was young.

Here's the Cleveland Tourism video my wife and I made this weekend. Tell anyone you can to watch it too. We need a lot more views before Wednesday May 27th to be in the finals. If you know people who have youtube or google accounts ask them to rate and comment our video.

based upon my liking goldman's the princess bride so much you recommended gaiman's stardust. yes, i have already read it and did enjoy it. i enjoyed two of gaiman' other books even more, neverwhere; and the graveyard book. if you haven't tried them, you ought to. based upon your favorite authors, i would suggest you try patricia mckillip. particular favorites are the riddle-master of hed as well as its two following volumes. she also wrote a small gem called the throme of the erril of sherill, which just about demands to be read aloud to youngsters. i am looking forward to reading it to my granddaughters when they are old enough.

thanks,
gbs
