About meI live in the foothills of the beautiful Adirondack Mountains in New York State, USA. When not reading I enjoy skate skiing, hiking, and canoeing in the Adirondacks. I believe we all need to think globally but act locally to promote social justice and do what we can to preserve the environment for generations to come.

About my libraryI mostly read non-fiction, that includes poetry, history, science, health, and spiritual books, and a little science fiction. Being new to LibraryThing I have only started to put my collection of books on online.
