About meRetired. I am interested in my Stone-Campbell religious heritage, which is an American "Restoration Movement" made up of churches from three "streams": Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), Christian Church/Church of Christ (independent), and churches of Christ (a cappella).

The photo above was taken May 22, 2005, the day the plaque marking the first burial site for Barton W. Stone was dedicated on his farm four miles southeast of Jacksonville, Illinois. The plaque is sponsored by Lincoln Christian College & Seminary and the Illinois State Historical Society. (Click on the image to read the plaque.)
