About meJulie Mae Madsen is a freelance writer. She grew up on a small island and has been walking in circles ever since, which may explain why she volunteers for pretty much anything. She is Film and Video Arts Editor of Oregon Literary Review, as well as a Poetry Editor (2008) and a Fiction Editor (2009) for Silk Road. Julie worked as a literary reviewer for the Tacoma Reporter and Tucson Weekly. She is the Series Director of First Wednesday Readings and Third Tuesday Readings (held at Blackbird Wine Shop and Krakow Koffeehouse).
