Noticed you liked White Oleander, and I was wondering if you'd be interested in reviewing my new novel and posting your comments here as well as a few other book-related sites. Thought you might like my book since it's also about a dysfunctional family (and also a bit dark). I could e-mail you the novel in an e-book format if you'd like (I'm out of physical copies at the moment). Here's a link to a summary (and a sample chapter) in case you'd like to read more before you commit:

Thanks for your response, and your notice of my library. Your comments on the midget in the Iranian Story are thoughtful. I Had not though of that. His corpse does seem like a heavy burden. I recommended the book to a friend and am anxious to hear her interpretation. I'll let you know if I hear anything. Carmelo
Wanted to say hello! I hope things are going well :)
yay! Your paid membership went through!!
You're right - we never talked about books when we were in school... that's a shame. You've inspired me to go back and add books from my paper book journal. I've only just started adding books that I don't own, so I'm missing big chunks of the books that I've read in the past. I've been keeping a list of books since the summer of 2000, so I'm going through and adding all of those now... I'm working backwards, but I'll eventually get back to the VC Andrews, haha.
Yaz, this is amazing. We even read the same VC Andrews books, hahaha. Why didn't we know this about each other before now?
Your library is like walking down memory lane... I love it :)
