About me I am a twenty-something female college student. After several years of wandering in the woods, I have finally made a home in the English Department. I love books, ridiculously so, as well as music and movies. I'm pretty much your typical homebody (mostly due to studying, not by choice). My favorite writers include Emily Dickinson and Shakespeare... and I will always have a soft spot for Edgar Allen Poe ("The Purloined Letter" in paticular).
About my library At the moment, you will notice my library is split quite keenly between to polar opposite subjects: Literature and Political Science (international theory mainly...). Though I am no longer an International Relations major, I do not have the heart to throw away my textbooks. I may not want to spend the rest of my life persuing such a career, but the subject matter is still very fascinting. There are also several manga series thrown in out of sheer guilty pleasure. I used to have many more books, but my mother gave them away to the charity drive at our local library (with out my consent). Rest assured I have forgiven her, but my library has yet to fully recover.

Sadly, roughly 250 - so a quarter - of my books have never been finished. I should probably get on that before I buy any more, huh?
(but it's a compulsion! And if I go into a used book store and see an author's entire backlist for sale at $3/each, I Must Buy The Books!)
