About meI'm 68 and like doing stuff . Kids , grand kids , open water rowing on San Francisco Bay and rowing and camping in the San Juan's + Gulf Islands , sailing , reading non-fiction , I like . Don't like ; fundamentalist Christians , horses , Republicans . Got hooked on internet news during the campaign and do too much email but hope to leave it alone soon ... that sounds funny - . About my libraryI would say I like history but I read a lot of small boating and contemporary stuff . Don' read fiction anymore but will go back and pick up Evelyn Waugh now and again . Favorite historian would be Barbara Tuchman . I get most of my book ideas from NPR .
