About meI have taught in middle school (18 years) and college night courses (7 years) before I starting teaching high school writing in 2005. I have a wonderful wife and a precocious, precious daughter.

About my libraryI find my library heavily weighted toward science fiction and fantasy. I am also adding in a number of the teaching and writing nonfiction books I own.

Since you're the only other person here who's cataloged the "Mighty Marvel Strength and Fitness Book" you might want to read my brief review of it (and add your own!).

I think we both own a very cool book.
I love that you have Surfing Samurai Robots! And that you're a teacher and you admit to owning Surfing Samuari Robots!!I'm not sure if I honestly like the weird story line, or the unfortunate narrative style, or if it's just nostalgic ("borrowed" from college ex-boyfriend). Whatever the reason for my inability to toss it out, cheers to someone who also appears to appreciate truly unusual fiction.
Hi, Tom. Only eleven matches so far. I still have hundreds of books left to go, including most of my books on education and writing. Of course, with having to go back to school for the teacher week before the students get here this week, I am going to be slowing down a bit on what I enter soon. We may see more matches yet.

Hi, Art. I found this via your blog ... and , as you see, I'm catalogued here too (I'm also a mostly silent Talkie).

Interesting that two English teachers can only come up with 11 matches in their libraries! ... tom
