About meI am 37yo, and I practice pharmacy (someday I'll be perfect at it.) My husband is a veterinarian, and we inhabit a house with four lovely Australian Shepherds. We had to ask permission to live here, of course, but since we agreed to feed them, they said Yes.
I love to read, and would read more if I didn't have to work, clean/cook, and sleep. Also my quilting habit takes time away from my books; if I could learn how to do both at once, it'd be great.

About my libraryI have varied tastes in books. However, I'll read just about anything, as long as it's good. I prefer fiction- historical fiction, mystery/thrillers/, YA, some fantasy, and yes, even a fluff romance.
I am about to be buried in my books TBR. The longer I am on LT, the more books I am discovering in my house.

Nope, I wouldn't worry yet. The March books are still trickling in, and the books from the April batch are only *just* starting to arrive!
Just checked out your library, we have similar tastes! I haven't logged all my books yet, I think you'll see we have more in common!
I actually do need to buy some new skin care stuff. I tend to go MK with skin stuff and just run to the drug store for the other stuff. What keeps holding me back? Until about 6 months ago, my grandma was my MK consultant and I got DEEP discounts, when she went out of business I bought a bunch of stuff, but now I'm running out. I don't want to have to pay full price for it, but I suppose I'll have to, cause nothing works anywhere near as well!

thanks for the link to Girlybooks. I have joined the group. I am not taking on any new books for now as I have one (Franklin and Lucy) that I am reading for ER; and I read Black Horses for the King and am reading The Winter King for the group Arthur read. Doesn't seem like there's a lot of conversation, but I have enjoyed my reading. I really enjoy LT and GD in particular.
Thanks for the question but where are the Girlybooks threads? Green Dragon? Where?

see you in the threads, Karen (aka Maggie1944)
I'll be running the algorithm that picks the Early Reviewer winners sometime next week. Unfortunately, it's the computer that does the picking not me, so I can't guarantee you a book!

Yes, I am. And I really appreciated your feedback. Thank you.
I've got some sort of virus.

Haven't been spending too much time on the PC.

How are you doing?
Hi Nicole - Thank you for stopping by. As suggested on the thread lindascl and I are going to 'host' the theme but as always any ideas will be welcome. At prsent I am trying to think through some ideas and develop my own thinking around the subject. You are so right. it is a sensitive one and my view is that we will need to be very clear about respecting differences, respecting one another's view points, faith or none etc. I look forward to keeping in touch =) Julie
Hi there!

I've had little access to LT recentley, but just got your message about Pillars of the Earth. Thanks! I'm now a couple of chapters in and loving it. I'm going to be so upset when I get to the end, I'll have to go straight out and buy World Without End!

I think clam said we'd begin on March 10.
Reply to your question on Women in Love - I haven't read it yet. That's the case with a lot of books on my shelf. Have you read it? If it's good, maybe I will work it into my reading challenge.
