I had the pleasure of running the Snowdonia Marathon in 2003 and I just loved Wales! I have read books about Wales for many many years, but I never thought I would have the chance to visit. I would love to have a "friend" in Wales, and it seems we share quite a few books. Perhaps you can help me learn a little Welsh? I was glad to hear that north Wales has retained Welsh as their primary language.
As a fellow fan of Library Thing with some of the same books in our collections, I thought you might like www.FindLikeMinds.com

Of all the books you’ve ever read, there are those that just stand out head and shoulders above the rest, these are what new start-up www.FindLikeMinds.com are calling Life Influences.

They say 'it’s the classics, the obscure, and the ground breaking, exceptional and extraordinary that truly influence us - a philosophy that applies to more than just books, there’s songs, movies, places, people, art, the list is endless'.

Community - Creating an influence profile, members share life influences and form genuine connections not by who they know but by what’s influenced them.
