If you look at the LibraryThing author cloud, you can really see that SF is what people are actually reading nowadays.
this may be blasphemous, but i actually enjoyed _Heat_ much more than _Kitchen Confidential_. you don't want to like mario batali, but you really do by the end, and buford's way less snarky and more in love with food and writing and generally being in a kitchen than tony, bless him. and probably good you guys discovered this during the crack between semesters, so that you can have shawna's 1800 books cataloged before seminars start.
i see you and shawna have finally capitulated. congratulations. it's all you'll do for weeks.
