About me Twenty-something, with a great fondness for books passed on from a librarian mother and a classics-devouring father! I enjoy learning other languages, knitting (and crocheting and sewing and scrapbooking), web design, and hanging out with friends. Mom to two cats and longtime military girlfriend!

About my library My library avoids excess drama when possible (which generally means, no chick lit). Great stories and great characters draw me in; my favorites are the ones I can't stop thinking about for weeks after. I read mostly fantasy, young adult (sometimes young adult fantasy), sci-fi, historical fiction and manga, with the occasional mystery thrown in for good measure.
